PowerBack Rehabilitation centers meet the needs of post-acute patients by providing skilled nursing, medical and rehabilitation therapy, and highly personalized care plans designed to get patients home sooner. As our Guest Services Director, your primary goal is to ensure that all patients/residents (customers) have a positive experience while in our stay, receiving the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere that recognizes the individuals' needs and rights. You will oversee Customer Service, Recreation & Entertainment, the Gift Shop, and Salon Services while leading the Guest Services Department staff, receptionists and volunteers.Position HighlightsVisible role with direct reports that serves as a member of the nursing center interdisciplinary management team.Implement recreation and other programming to encourage and stimulate customers to enjoy full and rich lives.Supports patients/residents in maintaining their typical/preferred routines during their stay.Train all new and existing staff in the Genesis approach to customer service and the benefits and value of involvement in Guest Services.Responsible for the customer satisfaction scores and response rates that result from the customer satisfaction survey within the nursing facility.Manage the patient/customer discharge follow-up process.Ensure successful transition of new patients/residents into nursing center within 48 hours of admission.Confirm that all required patient/customer recreation documentation (Assessments, MDS, Care Plan, Progress Notes, etc.) is completed and up to date.Establish and maintain an effective volunteer program through recruiting, screening, orienting, training, supervising, evaluating, and recognizing volunteers.Why Genesis?We offer various career paths for our employees as well as on-going education and training to help them achieve their goals.Founded in 1985, Genesis remains a strong, financially stable company constantly reexamining strategies to ensure continued industry longevity.We are committed to YOU!
