TITLE: Project Manager/Business Analyst Location: Newark, DE
Our financial services client is looking for an experienced Project Manager/Business Analyst to join their Risk Projects & Solutions Team to drive change across the risk organization through improving operational efficiency and effectiveness, technology enhancements and organization structure to support executive decision making and regulatory mandates. The role is highly visible to senior management and offers the opportunity to work across all business lines.This role will work across functional groups, risk areas and lines of business to drive the Risk Report Repository initiative forward by capturing user requirements, driving platform enhancements with Business Groups and Technology and tracking metrics to measure platform adoption. This role will require building operating model capabilities, implementing technical platforms and toolsets and building strong relationships within and outside the Firmwide Risk Reporting Organization. The successful candidate will be an entrepreneur thinker, team player, results driven and self-managing with strong attention to detail.What You'll Do:- Provide leadership in driving the Risk Report Repository Program
- Work closely with key stakeholders to design and implement platform enhancements
- Monitor usage and adoption of metric dashboards with user base
- Plan and drive down workstream tasks to ensure program success
- Escalate issues and roadblocks to managers and stakeholders as needed
- Create test scripts and host UAT calls with working group
- 3+ years experience as a Project Manager and/or Business Analyst, executing projects within the financial services industry. Bachelors degree required; experience in risk, finance and regulatory a plus
- Experience using Agile including familiarity with roles and responsibilities, users stories, acceptance criteria, sprint and product backlog planning
- Strong critical and creative thinking skills with ability to synthesize complex data sets to develop business insights, fact base analysis and hypotheses to help solve complex problems.
- Experience in control metrics and KPIs a plus
- Strong partnership skills; experience working with and influencing senior management to drive strategic decisions through conducting complex analysis, developing concise recommendations and preparing and delivering well designed presentations a plus
- Strong familiarity with project management and analysis software, such as Excel, Visio, JIRA, Sharepoint, etc.
- Ability to perform in a high pressure and fast paced environment
- Highly disciplined, self-motivated, and delivery-focused individual who is able to work independently
- Excellent analytical and communication skills (verbal and written)
