We act as trusted advisors to the Risk Operating Committee; deliver best-in-class external risk reporting and limit monitoring; and we execute and oversee controls supporting completeness and accuracy of critical Risk data used in reporting all within a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.Roles & Responsibilities:As Credit Risk Controller - Vice President, the ideal candidate will have extensive Controller experience with a solid understanding of financial disclosure reporting and fundamentals of project management. The individual will support the Risk Controllers organization and senior Risk Executives in Credit Risk and across the Firm. The ideal candidate will:

Successfully lead a team of global resources to manage and drive a comprehensive, SEC and External Risk reporting control environment.

Stay up to date on the latest Risk related news and trends across the financial services industry, markets, politics, etc. to anticipate potential impact(s) on the Firm.

Be encouraged to think creatively, challenge status quo, and deliver across a multitude of strategic objectives impacting the Firmwide Risk and Risk Controllers organizations.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting

5-8 years of demonstrated leadership; experience in Risk Management, SEC / Regulatory reporting, project management

Established track record of delivery in a complex matrix environment, ability to flex to business changes

Communication / Influence:

Ability to understand business drivers and requirements and influence partners to deliver solutions to business issues and problems

A developed leadership presence capable of effective messaging to colleagues and senior management alike

Proven ability to work across diverse groups, build consensus and execute the agreed plans

Soft Skills:

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple streams of work concurrently in a flexible, fast paced environment

Must be detail oriented, highly responsible and able to work with tight deadlines

Technical

Overall strong desktop skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other Office applications
