Kelly Services is hiring Production Technicians at Dow DuPont in Newark, DE ( 19713)This position is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch. For immediate consideration email resume with “Newark Production” in subject line to Michelle at micf116@kellyservices.comThis location produces silicone and foam pads/polishing and buffer pads used in cleaning machines. The job involves the manufacturing of these products including machine operation.Your work will involve one or more steps in the production process, including:
Operate skiving machinery or cutting press
Packing, stacking, folding, and assembly of materials
Packing orders, pulling products off shelves, folding materials to be shipped or assembled
Computer use for data entry, MTL, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Logbook, training, non-conforming product, audits, etc.
Operate Power Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment for moving and loading cakes
Operate required testing equipment for product quality
Monitor product quality according to procedure
Prior machine operation experience NOT NEEDED. Just need at least a year of manufacturing, production, factory or similar work.Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Driver’s license
Minimum 1 year factory, manufacturing, production or similar experience
Able to work near moving or mechanical parts, near fumes or airborne particles, and near loud noises.
Able to work at table level and/or overhead level as necessary.
Able to perform task wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as: respirators, protective clothing, face masks, goggles, boots, etc.
Physically capable of lifting more than 25-50 pounds, climbing ladders and stairs, wearing safety gear, working in confined areas, and working in a chemical-manufacturing environment.
Rotating schedule, 4 days on/4 days off or 4 days on/3 days off depending on the department. 2 weeks of 6 am to 6 pm then 2 weeks 6 pm to 6 am$15.25 per hourTime and a half after 40.Long term/open-ended contractPaid weeklyBenefits availableThis position is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch.
