Job Summary:

Seeking to hire an established Web Developer with experience in a variety of the more difficult Web tools and languages. The candidate will develop, maintain, and support applications for the organization's Internet/Intranet sites. He/She will develop, maintain, and support any database components necessary for the assigned application(s); Gather and analyze requirements; Program all or selected components of Web applications; Thoroughly test all created or modified application components; Document components and applications; Develop automation techniques to enable end-user content publishing; Program, test and implement mapped graphic images, forms and HTML pages; Design User Interfaces; Create system reports for end users; Handle client browser support inquiries; Maintain links to external sites and accuracy of internal links while ensuring up-to-date information; Research, evaluate and recommend new Internet tools and applications for use in assigned responsibilities, and perform other related activities as needed

In this advanced professional level role, the ideal candidate will develop, design and implement new and continued Intranet/Internet based software and database solutions through the design, build and maintenance of efficient, reusable and reliable code working with leading technologies. Candidates must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Must be experienced with ASP.NET MVC, WCF, SQL Server, etc. using the C# programming language and libraries such as jQuery and Bootstrap. Must have experience using SSRS or RDLC for report development. Must have the ability to translate requirements into technical designs and functional code; Must be able to handle medium to large, complex projects that require advanced skill in multiple technical environments; Must have the ability to work cohesively within a team. We will train on specific business area rules and policies but the candidate should possess the required skillset.

OTHER TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of IIS setup and management
  • Experience with branching and merging in Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Knowledge of the deployment process and the ability to create automated builds
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and still pay attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a project team member but occasionally as a project leader.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.
  • Ideally the candidate will also have the ability and temperament to mentor more junior level technical staff.
