Tax Analyst

DescriptionRobert Half Strategic Accounts is currently staffing a Tax Analyst with one of our fortune 50 banking client in Newark, DE! As a Tax Analyst you will: Coordinate and process information received. Assist in preparing information for filing documents. Assist in updating and maintaining the following information on earnings and profits, foreign taxes paid, parent company stock basis, and audit proceedings. Assist in preparing income tax provision calculation and review tax provision calculations. Maintain awareness of current technical and business developments. Research and analyze tax issues as they arise. Assist with foreign country tax issues. Retrieve number of tickets that require to be looked at from a regulatory standards. CRS indicia tickets – same as above but for CRS regulations Metrics – produce metrics on various functions and work streams for the team. Determine and apply proper rates of tax withholding to client accounts with direct financial impact to the client Prepare and populate tax reporting forms for distribution to the tax authorities and the clientRequirementsRequirements: Bachelor’s Degree required 1-3 years of analytical work experience Familiarity with IRS tax form (W-8/W-9) requirements and FATCA/CRS knowledge a plus Regulatory program experience a plus Organized, self-motivated and a quick learner Very strong attention to detail Strong analytical and logical problem solving skills Possesses strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Access Ability to quickly pick up working knowledge of proprietary systems Strong data entry and review skills(IF YOU’RE INTERESTED, PLEASE SEND RESUME TO TIFFANY.RANDLE@ROBERTHALF.COM).Accountemps matches highly skilled professionals with accounting finance jobs at the best companies on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
