DQ Remediation Project Managers will be part of a global organization that will be responsible to ensure that Business, Operations and Technology adheres to Citis Data Management Policies and maintains alignment with overall Data Governance processes and standards. They will work with products, technology and operations teams across all regions in TTS. The products include Deposits, Cards, Trade, Loans, Payments and Receivables

DQ Remediation PM will be responsible for the remediation of any data quality issues identified for TTS data across all products. They will develop a deep understanding of TTS business processes, products, technology platforms and services with respect to their impact on data. They will be responsible for the implementation of data quality monitoring for all relevant Critical Data Elements identified and impacted by the Data Quality Issues.

DQ Remediation PM will align with the Data Governance Office in TTS and the Chief Data Office organization in Citi for the delivery and reporting of the DQ Remediation program. They will align with the prioritization of the DQ Issues by the Chief Data Office and Data Governance Office. They will also need to understand the TTS data strategy to ensure that all data related work is aligned with that strategy. They will be responsible for active tracking, management and remediation of Data Quality issues in a timely manner working with all stakeholders.

DQ Remediation PM must understand the data technology landscape. They should understand how data flows between processing points in the business, so that they can bring in the right teams together for the resolution of these issues. They also need to be very well versed in the Regulatory and Risk/Compliance environment at Citi.

DQ Remediation PM will act as a key point of contact for both business and Chief Data Office for any data quality issues identification, analysis, solution design, development, testing, implementation, validation and closure. Additionally, they will be driving the teams to interact directly with key domain and project stakeholders, technology and operations partners in both TTS and Global Functions.

DQ Remediation PM will have end-to-end ownership of delivery for any Data Quality issues remediation work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable to ensure that all TTS data quality issues are addressed reliably and in a timely fashion as per Citis processes. Participate in Data Quality issue identification, root cause analysis, coordinate with stakeholders, facilitate communication across Business, Operations and Technology and assume responsibility for end to end resolution
  • Conduct DQ Eligibility squad reviews with the Chief Data Office, Issue detector, impacted product, and technology and Data Governance teams.
  • Accountable for gathering requirements, documentation and approval process with all stakeholders in TTS and Global Functions.
  • Coordinate across the organization with application and operations teams for solution design, review and approval.
  • Drive the execution and delivery of the solution across Business and O&T. Remove any obstacles in delivery.
  • Track and report the progress, status, risks and issues for the projects in integrated project management tool.
  • Conduct estimation and budget allocation, tracking financials for the projects.
  • Conduct status reviews and governance forums for smooth execution of the projects. Follow escalation protocols as per defined SLAs to mitigate any risks, issues and delays in delivery.
  • Must have the ability to drill down any issues and its root cause and identify alternate solutions.
  • Collaborate across the organization to ensure consistent and effective execution of data governance and management principles across TTS analytical systems and data domains.
  • Drive alignment of Business/Operational Processes with firm wide Risk and Controls initiatives
  • Develop deep understanding of the Risk and Regulatory programs in TTS including Cross Border Clearances. Steer the Data programs and Application Development to ensure compliance with all Risk and Regulatory programs

Qualifications and Competencies

  • B.S or M.S. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience in formal Project Management within a global company; Strong data management background who understands data, product requirements and application process flows.
  • 5+ years of experience working in the Finance or Compliance/AML data domains, involved systems and interdependent data flows.
  • 5+ years of experience, leading/managing large project teams with end-to-end delivery experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Agile delivery including hands on experience in tools like JIRA, HP ALM and Sharepoint, Microsoft project. Must have organized scrums for delivery.
  • 5+ experience in project estimation and budgeting process.
  • Must be extremely proficient in presentation and dashboarding skills for reporting of status and metrics.
  • Must have excellent analytical and business skills
  • Strong Communication Skills/Able to Persuade/Negotiate/Influence Others at all Organization Levels and the ability to foster lasting partnerships.
  • Ability to collaborate with the business and technical subject matter experts for effective solution design
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of master data elements and processes per the necessary in-scope data domains, specifically Finance, Risk and Compliance AML.
  • Demonstrate a high level of motivation, strong work ethic and self-starting attitude with a bias for speed and execution
  • Demonstrate ability to lead and multi-task, problem-solve, make decisions and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a collaborative person who listens effectively and invites response and discussion. Must possess good negotiation skills. Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to exercise independent thinking and good judgment under all circumstances. Demonstrate versatility and a willingness to work with constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
