Please note that this is a 1 year contract position.Shift Hours – 1:30pm – 10:00pm. Must have experience working with/ around chemicals.This is a Monday – Friday work schedule. The candidate will be working in a chemical area, not looking for a warehouse/forklift background.Experience with chemical testing or mechanical operations within the process area is required.Responsible for performing a variety of technical support duties in one or more manufacturing areas.Duties are related to manufacturing and technical support of one or more production processes, product test and troubleshooting, and technical analyses and problem-solving.Conducts tests, experiments and/or problem resolution associated with processes and provides technical support in the area of chemical, or mechanical operations within the process areaBatch-manufacturing of silica materialsComprehend detailed instructions/documentation on procedures and processes for productionFinalizing the production of finished products, by accurately adding and recording specified material amounts, gathering and recording operation information and data and for ensuring batches meet final criteriaUtilize and properly handle reactors, filter equipment and centrifugesStrong attention to detailAbility to comprehend and follow written procedures and documentationAbility to learn new processesExcellent communication skillsMay require some higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Typically minimum of 1 years of relevant experience for entry to this level.Requires complete understanding of general and technical aspects of job.Applicants must provide their phone number.
