Job Description

  • Greets customers at they arrive in Collision Center in a prompt, polite, and a professional manner.
  • Answers incoming phone calls in a prompt, polite, and professional manner.
  • Schedules estimates with customers.
  • Works with customers to provide them basic estimating services / information
  • Contacts all customers that have been given estimates and have yet to schedule repairs. Assists in setting up customer appointments.
  • Assists Collision Center Manager in scheduling work in a manner that will allow for optimal cycle time per insurance company guidelines and based on Collision Center capacity
  • Assists customers dropping off vehicles for repair including but not limited to; greeting, check-in, loaner options, and addressing questions/concerns.
  • Proactively contacts customers with vehicles being repaired and provides updates as determined by Collision Center Manager.
  • Assists Collision Center Manager with Accounts Receivable schedule follow-up including contacting insurance companies and customers for payment as well as supplement payments.
  • Responds promptly to all emails and resolves all concerns with the assistance of the Collision Center Manager.
  • Assists Collision Center Manager to ensure Collision Center is clean and organized.
  • Works with Detail Department to ensure completed vehicles will be cleaned.
  • Assists with paperwork, filing, and other general administrative duties.
  • Assists Collision Center Manager with other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Maintains a positive relationship with customer’s, insurance companies, vendor’s, manufacturer, and all other dealership employee’s.

Qualifications

  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must possess the ability to work as a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • High level of organization and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Must possess basic knowledge of reading and interpretting automitive repair estimates.
  • Automotive or Collision Center experience a plus!
