Technology & Operations is the backbone for both the client lifecycle and the investment lifecycle. Technology & Operations is driven by a global network of Operating Centers of Excellence, which centralizes knowledge and equips support teams with the data and timely information needed to innovate and deliver on behalf of internal partners and clients.

The desktop engineering team is responsible for managing the desktop, laptop, and Virtual Machine (VM) environments. This includes creating and managing the desktop build, packaging all applications, managing desktop group policies, implementing and managing the SCCM environment for managing and deploying software, managing desktop security environments, and providing 3rd level support. The team is also responsible for developing and implementing desktop related solutions to improve the user experience and security of the desktops.As a Desktop Engineer, you will:
  • Provide advanced support of desktops, laptops, and VMs
  • Manage internally developed modular desktop build
  • Manage internally developed tools such as the Technology Toolbar and Login Screen Assistant
  • Manage and implement group policies for desktops, laptops, and VMs
  • Manage and implement M365
  • Develop innovative solutions for improving the user experience, security, and management of the desktops, laptops, and VMs
  • Deploying software and patches to the desktops, laptops, and VMs
  • Managing and developing solutions for application delivery
  • Work on desktop projects and enhancements
What You'll Need:
  • 10+ years in development with VB .NET, PowerShell, and VB script
  • 10+ years of advanced desktop, laptop, and VM troubleshooting methods and methodologies
  • 5+ years of experience as Team lead
  • 10+ years of experience in desktop build frameworks
  • 10+ years of experience in application delivery
  • 10+ years in creating group policies for desktops and laptops
  • 10+ years in working on desktop projects and enhancements
