Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an
Associate for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Investment Management clients in Wilmington, DE. Responsibilities :- Support the onboarding of new alternative investor mandates, investments, and vehicles, including informing & implementing processes for investment/trade lifecycle management, cash management, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Provide trade support and execution functions for private investment funds, including monitoring internal and external teams to ensure accurate and timely execution.
- Work with portfolio management teams to facilitate cash management, capital activity, and investment funding processes.
- Liaise with external service providers, internal team members and other groups to resolve operational issues.
- Find opportunities for technological innovation and enhancements to processes.
- Identify risk areas and implement/improve risk-mitigating controls.
- Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO)
- 2+ years' experience in investment operations or accounting for alternative investments preferred
- Excel proficiency with experience or desire to automate and leverage technology.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized and able to adapt to variable deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding work ethic and accountability with a desire to grow and contribute beyond the role requirements listed above.
