As a Scrum Master, you will be driving and coaching a team of developers in the execution of Agile development practices. Promoting the business value and organizing teams to achieve those goals is paramount. Coaching employees and stakeholders on advanced Scrum fundamentals. You will act as a leader to influence team members to seek and embrace incremental change that increases team performance and delivery. aria-hidden="true" Identifying, tracking and implementing agile metrics to measure a team's agility and then use those measures to help guide a team forward . Identifying, escalating, and removing team impediments that jeopardize sprint goals. Act as a Champion and Custodian of the Agile principles for the team. aria-hidden="true" Teaching and coaching application developers to adopt Continuous Delivery practices such as Test-Driven Development, Specification by Example, Story Mapping, and other Lean/Agile Modeling Techniques is key to the team success. You will act as an Agile ambassador for the organization; exhibiting a deep-passion for continuous learning and seeking to provide knowledge gained throughout the entire organization. Working with leadership to change and adjust organizational design to promote self-organizing teams within an enterprise environment aria-hidden="true" Standard Scrum Master Responsibilities include the facilitation of sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews/demos, retrospectives, and release planning meetings. Qualifications
  • Must have 4+ years of professional experience working as Scrum Master
  • Ability to build JIRA dashboards, JIRA workflows, manage data in JIRA such as tagging and similar
  • Communicative and Social – Must be able to communicate well with teams, larger practitioner community and Agile thought leaders internally and externally
  • Facilitative – Must be able to lead and demonstrate value-add principles to a team
  • Assertive – Must be able to ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls.
  • Situationally Aware – Must be the first to notice differences and issues as they arise, coach the team to resolve internally and if necessary involve management
  • Enthusiastic Engagement– Must be high-energy and be a source for motivation/inspiration for individuals and teams looking for support and guidance
  • Continual Improvement – Must continually be growing ones craft learning new tools and techniques to manage oneself and a team
  • Conflict Resolution – Must be able to facilitate discussion and facilitate alternatives or different approaches
  • Attitude of Empowerment – Must be able to lead teams to self-organization
  • Attitude of Transparency – Must desire to bring disclosure and transparency to the business about development and grow business trust
