The Juicy Details The Social Media Channel Lead / SME will work for a huge big pharma company, responsible for developing and implementing social media stratgegies for the pharmaceudical industry on a global scale. The Social Media Lead will be the Social Media SME for the Global Commercial Digital organization, ensuring that the appropriate service offerings, capabilities, and partners are in place to support all commercial and patient market strategies. The role is responsible for identifying, operationalizing, evolving, and maintaining a comprehensive set of class-leading social media capabilities and processes. The Soical Media Lead will be acountable for delivery against the shared goals and objectives across Global Commercial & brand teams, local market brand teams, and Global Commercial IT to drive customer satisfaction and business outcomes.

The Day-to-Day
  • Lead social media capabilities as the SME for overall social strategy, brand development, KPIs, and pull through working with key brands, agencies, and corporate affairs.
  • Manage and optimize global enterprise social media platforms.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for social media strategy development, planning, and execution.
  • Work with internal stakeholders on enterprise guidance and pull-through.
  • Manage external social partnerships (Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, etc.)
  • Lead centralized community management efforts.
  • Advance marketing capabilities in social media by identifying new opportunities, seeking necessary input from key stakeholders and operationalizing the ideas.
  • Identify goals & KPIs for social media programs
  • When possible measure & analyze ROI.
  • Maintain an external focus to stay abreast of current technology channel trends and emerging opportunities to ensure continual innovation to maintain a true competitive edge.
  • Ensure adherence to all and Commercial Operations standards and policies.

Expeirence Required for Consideration
  • 6+ yrs hands-on managing & optimizing social media programs
  • Social media strategy development & implementation
  • 3+ yrs. pharma industry w/ an understanding of the nuances of pharma social media
  • Managing at least 1 person
  • Digital marketing
  • Managing/optimizing paid social execution
  • Global
  • Enterprise Social Media Platforms - Sprinklr preferred (not required)
  • Bachelor s degree.
