Technology & Operations

Technology & Operations is the backbone for both the client lifecycle and the investment lifecycle. The group's Follow the Sun Model ensures that the firm's operations are consistent and efficient across all investment products, client channels and regions, helping to deliver a superior client experience and drive scalability. Technology & Operations is driven by a global network of Operating Centers of Excellence, which centralizes knowledge and equips support teams with the data and timely information needed to innovate and deliver on behalf of internal partners and clients.

The Office 365 Engineer would need to have at least 5+ years of experience. For this role, you must be an O365 Engineer with in-depth knowledge and working experience in Microsoft SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Teams, PowerShell, Azure AD, and emerging technologies.

The candidate should have a combination of advanced O365 skills and soft skills necessary to build positive relationships with the client and with Microsoft.

As an Office 365 Engineer, you will:
  • Implement, maintain, and support of Microsoft 365 business solutions, to include but not limited to SharePoint, Teams, and any related technologies the organization may employ.
  • Experience working with intranet hosted on SharePoint Online or custom solutions hosted on SPO.
  • Responsible for build of O365 testing environment used for testing potential new capabilities and production changes.
  • Be directly responsible for level 3 and level 2 platform support.
  • Work directly with customers through continual user process observation to help them enable more capabilities within the platform.
  • Responsible for platform documentation and governance development around the use of the O365.
  • Design and implement technical solutions based on end-user and documented requirements.
  • Support both tenant migrations and SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online migrations.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

What You'll Need:
  • 5+ years of progressive experience supporting Exchange Online and Microsoft O365.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role (Active Directory design, Azure and O365 break/fix
  • 5+ years of experience in SharePoint and O365 collaboration platform.
  • activities, engineering, complex implementations, and migrations).
  • PowerShell scripting and PNP experience is required.
  • Expertise in implementing, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft 365 business solutions, including SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online, and any related technologies.
  • Expertise in coordination and escalation to Microsoft support and ability to coordinate with first- and third-party software vendors as needed for resolution of business-impacting problems.
  • Experience working with Intranet hosted on SharePoint Online or custom solutions hosted on SPO.
  • Experience working with various site types like hub, communication, and team sites.
  • Experience working with on-premises SharePoint platform preferably 2016 and 2019.
  • Experience working with Agile Scrum/Kanban.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes is required, including change and incident management.
  • Experience with Microsoft on-premises products (SharePoint and Exchange).
  • The ability to adapt to quickly changing business conditions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills
