Job Title: WorkDay Human Resources (“HR”) Analyst

Duration: Contract to HireLocation: D.C AreaThe client is seeking a WorkDay HR Analyst to join the HR Systems team and support their Workday ERP.

Position Summary:
  • Seeking Workday HR Analyst to join the HR Systems team and support Client’s Workday ERP.
  • Partners with two additional systems analyst to support end-users, develop reports, support integrations, assist with production launch of annual HR functions (i.e. Open Enrollment, Annual Compensation Cycle and Performance Management cycle).
  • Conducts functional and technical analysis, assists with regression testing and documentation of procedures and processes.
  • Delivers end user training including for new hire orientation.
  • Handles daily operations/break-fix support; ensuring timely follow-up including providing process improvement recommendations when appropriate.

Education and Experiences:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant education.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • SHRM and HRCI certifications desired.
  • 5+ years of HRIS system analysis, design, and support experience along with experience working across the various HR functions.
  • Experience supporting benefits and compensation is preferred.
  • Workday experience and certifications are a plus.
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel and strong data analysis abilities are required.
  • Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Must be pro-active and inquisitive attitude, professional maturity, sound judgment and discretion in the execution of all duties and responsibilities.
  • Must be able to demonstrate behaviors defined in NRECA’s competencies to include accountability, collaboration, communication, creativity and problem solving and demonstrate quality service by following our model of Service Excellence.
  • Have Strong troubleshooting skills with a proven ability to manage and resolve complex problems and effective communication skills with a demonstrable ability to collaborate successfully with system users, internal clients and developers.
  • Strong multi-tasking and decision making with the ability to lead multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to document data and system flows for usage in design and implementation.
  • Solid understanding of business analysis fundamentals; including requirement gathering, partner collaboration, process/data flow diagram, functional design and system testing.
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture and cloud implementation experience a plus.
  • Experience with interface development, data mapping, conversion, and integration.
  • Must have WorkDay HR experience.
