VariQ has an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified

UX Designer to support our

IRS project in

Washington, DC.

Additional Information:
  • Location: Primarily off-site/remote, with occasional travel to client site in Washington, DC
  • Salary: Dependent upon experience
  • Security Clearance: Ability to attain IRS MBI clearance

Responsibilities

  • Perform user research and interviews to gather feedback to inform design decisions
  • Wireframe concepts, iterate between low-fidelity and hi-fidelity
  • Conduct user testing on conceptual prototypes
  • Explore many different approaches to solving a specific user problem
  • Synthesize research findings into report and make informed design decisions

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX design
  • Experience working with UX design concepts for COTS solutions, preferably Pega
  • Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe XD, Axure, Sketch, Invision
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create interfaces for clients and explain them
  • Experience creating storyboards, information architecture and user flow diagrams
  • Familiar with Section 508 requirements
  • Familiar working with design systems
