Description:Data Engineering and Advance Analytics Enablement team is looking for a Python AWS DevOps Engineer that will be playing a key role in helping on enabling Analytics Tools for Client research community and supporting Analytics tools migration to Cloud and bring in key transformational changes to how we deploy Analytics Tools using cloud native architecture.Duties & ResponsibilitiesWork with cross-functional team of engineers and creatives to build and support the infrastructure necessary to efficiently deliver the next generation analytics platform (Python & R)Support containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes on AWSBuild, test and deploy new Infrastructure as Code leveraging all things AWS: CloudFormation Templates, Terraform, CodePipeline, ECS/EKS (Docker), Lambda (Python, R), CloudWatch, Route53, S3, and moreContinuously improve infrastructure provisioning automation, CI/CD pipelines, and operational excellence in the cloudParticipate in an on-call rotation for critical outages and issues.Monitor production systems and proactively create or improve alarms to surface mission-critical alerts immediatelyImprove analytics platform services availability, resiliency, and elasticity through monitoring, alerting, and self-healing systems designEnhance monitor performance of systems in AWS, including overall system health, reliability, performance, and costDevelop & maintain technical documentation including system diagrams & operational proceduresRequired qualifications:5+ years of development experience in coding, debugging, and using relevant Data Analytics programming languages (Python, R)5+ years of production experience with full software development lifecycle in a team environment3+ years of production experience with core AWS services3+ years production experience with cloud orchestration tools like Cloud Formation or Terraform3+ years of production experience with setting up CI/CD pipelines in systems like Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline3+ years of production experience with Dockerizing application runtimes and hosting in the cloudKey Competencies:Knowledgeable in the AWS Well Architected FrameworkStrong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skillsStrong communication (verbal and written) and listening skillsStrong teamwork, planning, and coordination skillsSelf-motivation, adaptability, and the ability to meet aggressive deadlinesAbility to independently research and resolve technical problems in a complex IT environment with local and remote groupsAdditional Requirement:3+ years of production experience with configuration management systems like Ansible or Puppet or Chef
