Description:This individual will be supporting the Path to Production Program. Path to Production was created to streamline security and risk management practices across the enterprise for software development-related work. The P2P framework shifts governance and controls to the early stages of the development process in order to eliminate redundant reviews or unnecessary steps and automate as much as possible. It standardizes the way our delivery teams create and update software and allows us to deliver it with greater efficiency, speed, stability, and security. To facilitate this framework the Path to Production tool has been developed allowing both governance stakeholders and delivery teams to track and manage all required activities and approvals in a single location. The P2P tool serves as an automated workflow ensuring that required controls are enforced and met prior to any team deploying a software change in the production environment. The path to production program is comprised of four teams (product enhancement team, analytics team, continuous improvement team and the operations team.) This position will sit on the operations team. The operations team is responsible for running the business including but not limited to implementing, executing and overseeing governance and permit management, SLA and other governance monitoring, onboarding new employees, onboarding new teams and stakeholders to the framework, managing all related program documentation (procedures, standard work, etc) exceptions handling, end user training and coaching, generating training collateral (such as documents and videos), marketing and communications, and customer support. The team works closely with our Product Enhancement team and Continuous Improvement team to troubleshoot & resolve issues within the tool and process as they arise. The operations team is the glue that holds all aspects of the program together ensuring teams are aligned and that the day to day needs of the business are met to ensure the P2P framework remains operational. As the program and framework are new, the needs of the business are constantly evolving.Successful candidates will need to be comfortable working in a fast paced environment with rapidly changing demands and capable of wearing many hats. Roles and responsibilities may shift as incoming demands shift. For instance, several new governance activities are slated to be integrated into the workflow and framework throughout the remainder of the year. Depending on the how the integration plays out, there may be an increased demand on the team for development of learning content in addition to an increase in required communications.
