Our Infrastructure Team will ensure site reliability and security for the world's leading commercial real estate information products by designing and implementing resilient systems, network, security, telecommunications, and support solutions in our enterprise-level private IaaS and public cloud environments.We are looking for an Enterprise Network Engineer to join our large team of expert engineers to manage the network backbone that spans 3 global data centers, 80+ offices worldwide, over 6000 servers and 3 public clouds to support web applications, like apartments.com & Loopnet.com, which are used by millions of customers every day. This position can be based out of Washington, DC, Richmond, VA or Irvine, CA and has the opportunity for hybrid work with up to two days remote per week. Four-day work weeks are also an option for those applicants that are interested. RESPONSIBILITIES:- Support office network stack including routing, switch stacks, wireless, VPN, and firewalls, spanning over 600 network appliances serving 12,000 end points.
- Operate and troubleshoot global Aruba Wi-Fi controllers and access points
- Triage tickets related to data centers, Internet applications, and worldwide office connectivity across switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi and VPN
- Secure and manage over 80 worldwide office locations supporting both onsite and remote users
- Interact with and provide white glove service to company executives for network related issues
- Aruba Wi-Fi controllers and access points
- Firewall technologies including - CheckPoint, Palo Alto, and Cisco ASA
- Cisco Nexus switches - 9Ks, 7Ks, 5Ks, 3Ks, FEXs
- VPN and Remote access solutions - Junos Pulse, CheckPoint, Palo Alto, AnyConnect
- Bachelors in Computer Science or related Field
- Solid understanding of wireless technologies (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
- Solid understanding of Wi-Fi RTLS solutions.
- Experience with tuning RF and Wi-Fi configurations based on industry best practices.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in networking not limited to: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, STP, HSRP, QoS, SNMP, VoIP, ACLs
- One or more relevant certifications are a plus - such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CCSA, CCSE, ACMA, ACMP etc
- Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting Cisco network devices and associated routing protocols and switching technologies
- Ability to read packet traces to identify source of problems.
- Good oral and written communications and experience interacting with high level executives
