Project Controls Engineer (Project Scheduling) POSITION SUMMARY PAE is seeking a Project Controls Engineer (Project Scheduling) for a Pending contract award in Juba, South Sudan.

The Project Controls Engineer will:
  • Develop and maintain the Project Execution Schedule (PES) is the working schedule and the key legal document representing the plan for executing all work under the Contract.
  • Record and report actual project performance progress.
  • Evaluate any time impact associated with unforeseen conditions, unexpected events, contract modifications, and performance delays.
  • Submit Baseline Project Execution Schedule (BPES), as well as Project Execution Schedule (PES) Updates.
  • Write Narrative Reports
  • Submit Procurement Logs
  • Provide prompt responses to COR inquiries about the project status and progress.
  • Maintain close communication with all subcontractors to ensure accuracy of all reports and adherence to the Project Execution Schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have at least 5 years of directly related project scheduling experience.
  • Current certification such as PMI-SP or similar, customer approved certificate.
  • Ability to successfully pass USAID medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment.
  • Must have a valid passport.
  • Experience working on Power Generation projects preferred.

EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma

OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Experience providing excellent customer service in supporting contract responsibilities in an overseas environment.
  • Relevant overseas experience, preferably in the East Africa and especially Sudan Region with knowledge of local culture and customs is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules and under pressure of deadlines while maintaining performance standards.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with respect to metrics and process improvement.

WORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONS This position may be located in an environment with harsh working and living conditions. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment.
