Secret Cleared Cloud Engineer

Position Description CGI Federal is looking for a Secret Cleared Cloud Engineer that is experienced in medium to large-sized AWS-based data center operations.

Your future duties and responsibilities• Develop and implement policies for the use of AWS Cloud Services• Manage requests for new technology• Establish a secure cloud environment• Ensure appropriate availability of services• Work is located in Fairfax and Washington DC. Travel limited. Parking provided when required

Required qualifications to be successful in this role• Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of experience with medium to large sized AWS-based Data Center operations• DoD Secret Clearance is required, TS or higher preferred• Must possess one (or both) of the following: AWS SysOps Administrator and AWS Cloud Practitioner Certifications. Both certifications must be obtained before beginning work on the program.• Must be knowledgeable about AWS and MS Azure in IAAS, PAAS, and SAAS services• Proficient in research, technical writing and good oral communication
