About the Opportunity

DMI (Digital Management, LLC.) is seeking a full time

Senior Java Developer to support its application development team for its federal client.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Engineer systems including conducting prototypes, proof of concepts or full implementation of the system
  • Write high-quality software from given requirements
  • Demonstrate creative problem solving through software solutions
  • Fix bugs in software
  • Improve existing software frameworks, components and solutions
  • Write documentation where appropriate

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

  • BS in Comp Science or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience in application programming with Java 7/8, WebLogic/JBoss, Spring/Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Oracle, FLEX, Angular 1.X

Required Skills/Certifications:

  • Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Solid background using Java framework Struts 1 and 2.
  • Extensive experience using JSP
  • Extensive experience in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Angular 1.X, NodeJS.
  • High proficiency in Java, Oracle, JBoss, WebLogic.
  • Experience developing Oracle PL/SQL Stored Procedures/Functions
  • Ability to excel in a fast paced, agile and dynamic work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • Experience developing SOAP and/or RESTful API's
  • Java Frameworks like Spring, Hibernate
  • Experience in Oracle database development
  • Experience designing and implementing web services
  • Experience with Java, AngularJS, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS
  • Production support experience (Weblogic, Jboss)
  • Knowledge of JDK, Maven, Tectia SSH, Rapid SQL, Tectia Secure file transfer, Oracle Client 12c, TortoiseSVN , Textpad , Eclipse, Weblogic Server 12c
