Description
We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect, to play a key role on our team and provide technology thought leadership and hands-on expertise for an enterprise solution. This position has an opportunity to shape our solution's roadmap and help transform it. The candidate must have a passion for applying technology to deliver tangible business results and an ability to focus on details which result into successful, practical, market leading solutions. The candidate should enjoy collaborating with other stakeholders and partners to deliver results. Duties and Responsibilities- Collaborate with Product leadership on technology roadmap and prioritization of technical items.
- Provide thought leadership to transformation and modernization initiatives in areas such as cloud native architecture, microservices architecture, user experience, integration, and business intelligence.
- Design or review/validate key architectural components.
- Help evaluate and make decisions on technologies and tools.
- Collaborate with product engineering (development) team and development partners (vendors) to ensure architecture integrity and production readiness.
- Collaborate with Development team members to ensure solid design principles and platform.
- Review the deliverables (code, design, and other deliverables) for quality and compliance with standards.
- Ensure the overall solution maintains a high degree of stability, reliability, performance/scalability.
- Supervise security aspects including compliance, privacy, and risk management.
- Maintain, communicate, and drive adoption of cloud operations standards and tooling across Software and infrastructure delivery teams.
- Contribute to systems necessary to maintain a healthy Continuous Improvement (CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD) pipeline.
- Educate team on AWS and participate in deep architectural / design discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployments in AWS.
- Communicate complex technical subjects in an understandable way with other disciplines and stakeholders.
- Work with other stakeholders on preparing future work (e.g., roadmap definition, epic/story breakdown, estimation)
- Collaborate with team on selection process for major new system dependencies.
- Expert with 10+ years' experience in Enterprise Architecture
- Expert with 10+ years' experience in designing and architecting complex applications, including SaaS and cloud-based distributed applications.
- Expert with 10+ years' experience in Java/Web applications and contemporary development platforms/frameworks
- Expert with 5+ years' expertise in most of the following, but with versatility to grow in other areas:
- Cloud enabled/cloud native solutions
- Spring Boot
- React
- DevOps
- Microservices, API
- User Experience (UX)
- Integration
- Business Intelligence, Analytics
- Advanced experience in SaaS/Cloud deployment on AWS
- Advanced experience in Agile/SAFe methodologies.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate desired.
- Strong Communication Skills (verbal/written) and ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
