Overview
The Squires Group has a contract opportunity for a Splunk Engineer on a Federal Program in Washington, DC. We have teamed with this award-winning global integrator for more than 20 years. They work with the most cutting-edge technology, with the end goal of helping defend our nation. In this role, you will work directly with customer, team, and customer representatives to assist in the development and implementation of custom-tailored Splunk dashboards. Work is being performed REMOTELY during COVID, but candidates must be local to the Washington, DC area. Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an Interim or Active Secret Clearance. Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of experience architecting, configuring, deploying, and customizing Splunk, preferably both in supporting the application and utilizing the application for information security monitoring, incident response, and compliance
- Expertise in creating visualizations in Splunk and custom queries to manipulate views
- Knowledge of a scripting language and UNIX/LINUX command line
- Ability to utilize advanced systems, scripting, and developer skills to develop methodologies to implement, integrate, and maintain new and emerging enterprise-wide systems hardware/ software technology components
- Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an Interim or Active Secret Clearance
- Cyber Security/Information Security SIEM experience corresponding to maintenance, administration, and utilization of tools
