Overview
We have an exciting opportunity with our prestigious client, an industry-leading integrator who provides a wide range of services and solutions to the Federal Government. They have a contract opening for an Analytics & Visualization Tester to work REMOTE on a project that is developing enhancements to the products and infrastructure of a Federal Program aimed to help veterans obtain and retain home loans. The successful candidate will be familiar with management and support of the architectural runway and will deliver value that is aligned with the business goals. You will have excellent problem-solving skills and be a stellar communicator. Bring your talent to this important Federal Agency serving over 15 million Americans. Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens and be able to pass the client's background check. Responsibilities- Creating, reviewing, and executing test cases based on business requirements
- Testing dashboards end to end from data sourcing through user interface
- Documenting results of test cases based on system requirements, functional and technical specifications
- Ensuring software meets intended user requirements and user scenarios
- Reporting defects and document issues as required in Jira
- Assisting development team in triage and resolution of defects
- Performing re-test of defects and review test results
- Developing, maintaining, and executing automated tests
- Working with data team to help populate and/or create test data in the test environment
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in testing projects in an Agile framework with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Experience with data and analytics applications (i.e., Power BI, Oracle)
- Experience with development collaboration software (Jira, etc.)
- Experience with automated testing and automation testing software
- Strong data analysis skills, along with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens and be able to pass the client's background check
- Power BI experience desired
- Mortgage or financial services knowledge desired
