Join us at Guidehouse.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilitiesTechnical strategic skills in many areas of health care, but will begin focusing on a specific area of specialization within the integrated healthcare system (service lines, facility strategy, enterprise strategy, financial strategy, M&A strategy, digital strategy, growth strategy)

Develop local, regional and national reputation for their expertise in this area of specialization through speaking engagements, articles, etc., and will begin selling small projects in this key focal area

Technical: Structure project analyses and complete portions, as necessary

Define creative approaches to analyses building strategic models and solutions

Identify new tools and techniques to be applied

Ensure accurate application of business techniques Project Management:

Scope and direct preparation of proposals, revising as necessary

Manage multiple projects at any one time

Control project scope and budget on medium-sized projects

Develop/refine intellectual property concepts and potential market opportunities

Identify and discuss project scope problems with client before they become budget problems

Follow-up on receivables collections, as requested

Client Relations: Develop strong ongoing relations with client managers, directors, and vice presidents, C Suite health systems and academic hospitals

Begin to interact with senior client management on a conceptual level

Begin to address project direction and quality issues with client management

Professional/Practice Development: Solidify the ability to mentor more junior Navigant (Guidehouse Co.) professionals

Be a firm “expert” in areas of market specialization

Originate new client leads, develop follow-on potential at existing clients and close follow-on work at some clients

QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree required; Master's degree in business, management, health policy and administration or other quantitative degree is a plus

5-10 years of previous work experience in a healthcare consulting firm or a combination of healthcare industry and consulting experience

Must have previous strategy consulting experience within the integrated healthcare system (service lines, facility strategy, enterprise strategy, financial strategy, M&A strategy, digital strategy, growth strategy)

Provider-side experience in a health system, hospital and/or medical group

Solid background in broad-based provider financial modeling 6+ yrs.

Project and/or program management experience 6+ yrs.

Excellent quantitative analysis skills in data analysis, modeling, dashboards.

Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access as well as the ability to conduct research

The ability to travel as necessary: 50%
