- Planning and managing acquisitions for a variety of products and services for the contracts division.
- Provide cradle-to-grave contract support, such as conducting market research, preparing solicitation documentation (pre and post award), reviewing proposals for compliance, performing cost/price evaluations, assisting with negotiating positions, reviewing and processing invoices.
- Assist in developing acquisition strategies, including determination of contract method/type.
- Perform contract administration, including, but not limited to maintaining contract file folders and preparing contract modification.
- Assist the Contracting Officer in the oversight of contract performance.
- Possess extensive knowledge of contracting for a variety of products and services for major systems, research and development (R&D), and/or complex programs using a wide range of contracting methodologies such as negotiated contract and commercial acquisition procedures in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), Air Force Acquisition Regulations (AFFARS), and other applicable supplements.
- Possess expertise in managing contract actions from conception to implementation.
- Possess extensive experience in performing source selections, cost or price analysis, negotiations, and preparation of related contract documentation in accordance with directives and policies.
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant DoD/IC or relevant industry work experience
- Bachelors of Arts/Bachelors of Science (BA/BS) degree
- Personnel shall, with limited technical guidance, assist, advise, and perform tasks by employing knowledge or experience to develop and implement solutions to diverse, complex problems
- Must be a US citizen
