Summary: We’re looking for a Manager for Facebook surface monetization DS team, to bring more efficient and people-first monetization experience on emerging surfaces, including Reels, Marketplace, Watch, Stories, Search, Lite etc. You will be supporting a strong team of manager and ICs to help unlock future revenue opportunities on Facebook.Surface monetization is responsible for building and growing monetization products on off-feed surfaces on the Facebook app. As the data science leader, you will partner with cross functional leads to set the vision of the surface monetization, and drive the understanding to grow revenue on the surfaces while maintaining a healthy user experience. You will also work closely with finance partners to guide the growth trajectory of monetization on surfaces to ensure a sustainable revenue growth for Facebook.Required Skills: Data Science Manager, Facebook App New Surface Monetization Responsibilities:Lead a team of data scientists and managers to shape short- and long-term company strategy through a better understanding of the drivers of the business ecosystem

Drive analytics projects end-to-end in partnership with teams from Finance, Engineering, Product Management and across the Analytics community to inform, influence, support, and execute product strategy and investment decisions

Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how users interact with ads products

Provide mentorship to the team on both technical and strategic direction

Inform, influence, support, and execute our product decisions

Cultivate an environment of analytics and experimentation excellence ensuring high quality output

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:MS degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, operations research, econometrics, computer science, engineering), or BS/MS in a quantitative discipline with equivalent working experience

4+ years of experience in team leadership/people management through layers

Track-record driving product roadmap and execution

Experience working effectively with multiple stakeholders and cross-functionally

Experience communicating both in low-level technical details as well as high-level strategies

A minimum of 5 years of work experience (3+ years with a Ph.D.) in applied quantitative field, including a minimum of 2 years of experience managing analytics teams

Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business or another quantitative field

Experience working in digital advertising

7+ years of experience doing quantitative analysis, statistical modeling or machine learning in the experimentation space
