We have an exciting opportunity with our prestigious client, an industry-leading integrator who provides a wide range of services and solutions to the Federal Government. They have a contract opening for an experienced

DevSecOps Developer to work

REMOTE on a project that is developing enhancements to the products and infrastructure of a Federal Program aimed to help veterans obtain and retain home loans. In this role, you will work with Application and Technical Architects to translate a business need into a robust and integrated technology solution. This is a fast-paced environment that solves unique and challenging software problems and develops innovative solutions.

U.S. Citizens and be able to pass the client's background check.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1 - 3 years of experience with the following:
    • One or more backend languages (Java - must have / Spring preferred / Spring Boot - added advantage)
    • WebLogic Server
    • One or more frontend frameworks (React - preferred)
    • Experience with one or more databases (Oracle - preferred)
  • Experience developing responsive web applications
  • Good OO-skills. Must demonstrate strong familiarity of design patterns
  • Must demonstrate strong familiarity of design patterns
  • Ability to understand complex code quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new technologies
  • Good communication and client-facing skills
  • Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be

    U.S. Citizens and be able to pass the client's background check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Pair programming and Test-Driven Development
  • Experience practicing pair programming in a team
  • Experience with Veteran Affairs is an advantage (current PIV/GFE enablement a plus)
