Job Description

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

The Enterprise Multifamily Risk - Risk Management – Senior Associate role will support oversight of thepricing and acquisition activitiesof the Multifamilybusiness and will report to the Director of Multifamily Pricing and Acquisitions Oversight. This role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Assist team with monitoring credit quality and pricing on all Multifamily acquisitions.
  • Perform reviews and provide effective challenge of Multifamily strategies and methodologies that impact Underwriting and Pricing activities.
  • Assist team with monitoring of Lender, Sponsor and Loan review risk management activities
  • Perform risk reviews on various areas the team has oversight and document conclusions and recommendations to mitigate risk
  • Document and present findings and/or conclusions of analysis to key stakeholders and senior management in thoughtful and persuasive manner
  • Partner with the Multifamily and other stakeholders to carry out business strategies that will drive success and ensure safety and soundness in the face of shifting market conditions and regulations

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experience

  • 3 years

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Multifamily or Commercial Real Estate experience, preferably in Underwriting
  • Experience with Delegated Underwriting and Servicing (DUS) program preferred

Skills

  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
  • Experience in risk assessment and risk management including evaluating risks and controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.
  • Experience in influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
  • Experience working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
  • Experience analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data.
  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
  • Basic understanding of the mortgage industry and the role that the Government Sponsored Enterprises play
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Tools

  • Skilled inbusiness intelligence tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy and Advanced Excel
