RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Washington, DC that is seeking an Infrastructure Manager that serves as a member of the management team to the Center for Innovation and Technology (CIT) Infrastructure Team in the areas of information systems architecture, design, implementation, and project planning.
Responsibilities: In this role, the Infrastructure Manager will assess the IT infrastructure and operations organization (people, process, and technology) to determine best course of journey towards Cloud, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, Salesforce, and VMWare Collaborates with the management team to estimate requirements, prioritize projects, and communicate with key stakeholders The Infrastructure Manager will coordinate well between a variety of vendors and technical experts Apply practical managerial and professional skills and knowledge of information technology to develop, maintain, support, and optimize key functional areas, particularly Enterprise Network Infrastructure, Cloud Infrastructure, Data Center Server Infrastructure, Data Communications, Telecommunications Systems, and IT Business Continuity Working toward providing robust and more integrated infrastructure technologies and services as well as building relationships with state affiliates As an Infrastructure Manager, this role reports directly to the Director of Information Technology ServicesREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technology field or discipline related to the position or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience from which comparable knowledge or skills may be obtained Certifications that will be considered include Cisco, VMware, AWS, Azure, or other cloud-based services Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plusThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
