- Should have experience in a network support role, 1-2 years would be spent supporting large IP networks
- Understanding of how to have a VLAN extended to two different physical locations as not all migrations can be completed during a single maintenance windows
- supporting customers on site and via phone. Must be able to support complex and high profile customer base.
- Strong operating and troubleshooting knowledge across the following routing, switching or security technologies: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS (L2 & L3 VPN), Multicast protocols (IGMP, PIM), Switching or firewall technologies
- Training and Certifications (one or more of the following) - CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, VCP, JNCIA, JNCIP, JNCIE, NetApp ON-TAP
