Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will support loan production and product management, interact directly with external customers on deals, lead Lender trainings, and work extensively with environmental and loan data to derive key business insights. The Green and Healthy Housing Financing team develops and markets Green and Healthy Housing financing products for multifamily housing to create positive environmental, social, and financial benefits.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

The MF Customer Engagement - Customer and Partner Management - Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Maintain customer relationships across business units and/or customer accounts and strive to do what's right for our customers.
  • Work closely with the team to develop, implement, and monitor customized business solutions to meet both Fannie Mae and customer goals and objectives.
  • Function as the primary contact on deal-related questions for 10-15 lenders.
  • Lead lender and borrower trainings on green and healthy housing financing products.
  • Work with Technology, Data, and Reporting teams to ensure that loan data is being accurately captured and reported.
  • Work with Communications and Legal to develop marketing and outreach materials for lenders and borrowers.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Green Financing to internal teams and external customers.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 2 years

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Skills

  • Strong data analysis and Excel skills, including the ability to use Excel functions to manage large data files and databases, create charts and graphs, and extract business insights
  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to lead client trainings and meetings, speak on panels to industry experts, create marketing and training material, and present technical material clearly in Word and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable with learning and communicating engineering principles related to building equipment and systems, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing and solar
  • Risk Assessment and Management including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps, remediating risk, etc.
  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
  • Knowledge of energy and water efficiency and green and healthy housing building principles desired but not required

Tools

  • Experience using Salesforce CRM
  • Skilled in Excel
