Our dynamic program team of IT leaders and large and small business partners is seeking bright, energetic and talented individuals to join us as we bring our innovative IT Service Delivery solutions to SEC. Currently; we are seeking an MS Azure VDA Engineer. The selected candidate must a US Citizen (without dual citizenship) and able to obtain a Public Trust Suitability clearance, per contract requirements.Since 1934 the SEC has been restoring and ensuring investor confidence in our capital markets by providing investors and the markets with more reliable information and clear rules of honest dealing. Are you ready to do your part and support all Americans in this mission?The EUT Azure VDA (Virtual Desktop Access) Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining virtual desktop solutions using Azure Virtual Desktop and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).Core Responsibilities:

Design and implement Azure Virtual Desktop and VDI solutions.

Configure and manage virtual desktop images, host pools, and remote desktop sessions.

Develop and implement automation solutions using PowerShell or other scripting languages.

Configure and manage Azure Active Directory and Conditional Access policies.

Provide end-user support for virtual desktop solutions.

Collaborate with other engineers, project managers, and SEC Government stakeholders to understand business requirements, propose solutions, and provide updates on project progress.

Evaluate new Azure VDA technologies and features and make recommendations for their adoption.

Monitor and report on virtual desktop solution performance, and troubleshoot issues as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 5 years of Windows and/or End User Device Engineering, administering and knowledge of Office 365 applications

Strong technical skills in Azure VDA solutions, including Azure Virtual Desktop and VDI, Azure AD Domain Services (AAD DS), AVD Session Host Imaging.

Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell.

Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and Conditional Access policies.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Commitment to continuous learning and keeping up to date with the latest Azure VDA technologies and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

Desired Microsoft Certification: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar certifications.
