Piper Life Sciences is seeking a Molecular Technician to support a brand new lab in Washington DC for one of the most prestigious and highly regarded organizations in the DMV area.
Responsibilities of the Molecular Technician:- Perform DNA/RNA extraction
- Run polymerase chain reaction equipment (PCR) or qPCR
- Perform all required tasks under Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) regulations
- Maintain equipment and records per SOP's (standard operating procedures) and any other applicable regulations
- Bachelor's Degree in related life sciences field, preferably molecular biology
- CLIA or CAP regulated laboratory experience
- 2+ years of professional experience performing DNA/RNA extraction and PCR
- Salary based on meeting of qualifications
