Description: The District of Columbia, United States Attorney's Office (USAODC), has an installed JCON network. Several database systems (legal case tracking and administrative) reside on this network. These systems currently use ORACLE Relational Data Base Management Software (RDBMS), 19c on HP Servers. USAODC is currently engaged in transitioning all database systems from the ORACLE platform to a combination of new platforms and technologies including SQL Server database, data warehouses, COTS products, customized COTS products, and new interfaces to facilitate system interactions (including both internally within USAODC systems and externally with outside agencies).This statement of work requires construction and support of databases in the SQL Server environment, selection, and implementation of COTS/government software to replace Legacy systems, development and modification of multi-agency interfaces, web development of user interfaces on existing and new applications and provide maintenance support for existing USAODC applications and processes.

Responsibilities:

Develop a system architecture document to illustrate USAODC application inter-connectivity.
Provide support to modify current transaction loading and processing of data and documents in the current environment as need arises.
Transition current transaction environment from Oracle to SQL Server.
Modify current and new multi-agency interfaces to support loading data and documents to new staging area environments.
Migrate current processes to populate USAODC data sources with transaction data and documents from new staging areas.
Conduct interface testing - internally and externally with other agencies as needed.
Go Live and post-implementation support.
Develop a system architecture document to illustrate USAODC application inter-connectivity.
Analysis of user requirements documented in a Functional Requirements Document
Design and creation of data structures and database objects in MS SQL Server environment.
Migration of data to new MS SQL Server environment, as needed.
Design, develop, test, implement and document modifications of existing USAODC applications including, but not limited to, Oracle Forms and Reports and MS Access.
Design, test and implement roles-based application access vs direct grants application access for Oracle applications.
Develop and implement solutions for identified application security issues.
Develop, implement, and maintain scripting solutions for various interfaces including, but not limited to, MS Office 365 components and MS Windows.

Required Skills/ Experience/ Education:

Knowledge of System Architecture modeling.
Knowledge of requirements analysis and system definition reports and documentation.
Experience with Web Technologies like XML (Extensible Markup Language), JSON (JavaScript Object Notation), Web Services (SOAP, SoapUI, REST API),Dynamic web pages using CSS, Ajax and HTML5, .NET Applications using C#, Java
Experience in Databases, Operating Systems, Application Servers like - MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Linux 5, Windows
Experience with .Net Applications using C#
Experience with VB Script
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services
Experience with MS Access
Experience with Oracle 12c Developer Tool Suite
Experience with PL/SQL
