A leading educational institution is looking for a junior Production Data Analyst with strong analytical, communication and time management skills. The selected consultant will interface with clients, collaborate with colleagues and be responsible for managing the issue queue. The ideal candidate has experience working with clients/end-users, demonstrates project management/prioritization experience or is familiar with queue-based work, and has some exposure to SQL, JIRA, and/or other technical workflow and querying tools.

This role is based in the Washington, DC, the return to office plan is in flex but it will likely be 3 days on site and 2 remote once this role gets started. This is a contract position set to run through late 2023.

Job Description: The Analyst is responsible for maintaining the health and integrity of the data in our live sites and serves as Tier II or Level 2 support for data-related issues, managing missing files, routine data updates, and working with members to resolve problems or complete change requests. The Analyst works across all products in the company's technology.

This role is based in Washington, D.C.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Effectively triage and manage a queue of member production issues post implementation
  • Perform routine data loads and data maintenance of member platforms
  • Learn and master the data requirements and technical functionality of EAB's SSMS products
  • Communicate directly with members in a professional and timely manner to provide a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Develop creative solutions to accommodate technical challenges faced by the member
  • Proactively identify trends to product and/or process challenges
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams - engineering, data extraction services, consulting, and development

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years' professional work experience
  • Experience working with Excel and aptitude to learn advanced Excel functionality
  • Experience validating large datasets
  • Proven customer service skills with a focus on attention to detail
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical reasoning and problem solving ability
  • Proven ability to be able to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced work environment
  • Exhibit a high level of organizational skills and sense of personal accountability
  • Looking for someone with robust client-facing communication experience in addition to technical experience.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Experience troubleshooting software platforms
