Work you'll do
  • Own and drive day-to-day quantitative analysis and modeling including developing, maintaining, and operating a suite of econometric and advanced analytic models and business intelligent tools
  • Accountable for interpreting and translating results and takeaways to clients, team leadership, and team members with varying levels of subject matter knowledge
  • Responsible for executing and maintaining the effectiveness of key modeling governance activities around change management, performance monitoring, and testing, in alignment with industry practices
  • Develop innovative analyses which may include dataset manipulation and transformation, piloting of cutting-edge analytical techniques and technologies, and transformation of statis reporting into dynamic visuals
  • Cross Functional role where you will interact with data collection, reporting system designers, architects, database administrators, and cyber risk professionals to assist in overall production for our clients

Qualifications

Required:
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for this role
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, data science, economics, finance, mathematics
  • 4+ years of experience performing advanced big data analytics, modeling, and reporting with an intuitive understanding of translating data analysis into insights, recommendations, and actions, that is, the ability to see the big picture as the outcome of advanced data-based analytics
  • Experience across the entire model development lifecycle, including interacting with model users, model risk management teams and executing model governance best practices.
  • Deep technical understanding, including proficiency in an analytical programming language, such as SAS, Python, or R, to provide clear technical direction, mentoring and growing the skills of your team.
  • A driven self-starter and leader with strong project management experience, including a successful track record of delivering mission-critical projects.
  • Strong verbal and written executive presentation skills, the ability to strategically and effectively communicate with external and internal stakeholders, as well as collaboratively across business units, technology, and policy teams.

Preferred:
  • Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics
  • Experience with designing and building quantitative analysis and models within financial services, health care, or the defense industry, or similar industry specific experience
  • Experience with developing audit or governance frameworks
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
