Work you'll do- Develop strategies to assess whether applications are designed to client standards while eliminating security risks.
- Manage migration process of application data.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather business requirements for enhancements/ change requests.
- Work with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) applications
- Define plan for synchronization strategy and patch management.
- Establish security controls to help protect client systems.
- Bachelor's degree required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active TS/SCI security clearance required
- Travel up to Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Five (5) or more years of experience as a software developer in building multi-tier framework software applications using object-oriented programming languages, such as Java and Python;
- One (1) or more years of experience with cloud (AWS preferred) application development and management;
- Experience migrating on-premises hosted applications to the cloud (AWS preferred);
- Experience developing cloud native applications (AWS preferred);
- Experience developing SOAP and REST APIs in a client/server environment (i.e., Java, Python, etc.);
- Experience writing and evaluating regular expressions;
- Experience developing, debugging and/or refactoring code for popular programming languages (i.e., Java, Python, etc.);
- Experience with scripting command line tools (e.g., Vim, Bash, PowerShell, etc.) to automate command tasks;
- Knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM);
- Knowledge of web-related technologies HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS;
- Experience with any major database (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server);
- Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
- Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP)
- Support the Govt's effort to obtain and maintain an ATO and protect the security posture of the program systems and applications;
- Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills;
- Instruct and mentor junior development team members;
- Provide Govt personnel instruction, guidance, and documentation; and
- Willingness to learn new technical disciplines and to become a resident expert within a team.
- If requested, be able to attend CCB meetings with the Government as a SME.
