Job Title: Senior Evaluation Associate Seeking:Senior Evaluation Associate experienced in applied research. We believe smart communications has the power to change lives and this work is our passion.Position Overview:As a Senior Evaluation Associate, you will support a dynamic team supporting the Department of State. Must have the passion for the power of evaluation and organizational skills to support multiple projects.Location:Fully RemoteKey Responsibilities:

Analyze multiple data sources on various projects to develop processes, surface findings, and develop recommendations for improvements to existing evaluation projects.

Standardize data analysis, structure, and cleaning in R programming language.

Support evaluation design, including theoretical frameworks, evaluation plans, recruitment guides, discussion guides, questionnaires, and internal clearance and approval documents.

Support international and multi-national applied research and evaluation work, including mixed methods approaches and utilizing various methodologies, including quasi-experimental designs.

Coordinate with fieldwork subcontractors and clients and manage projects through their life cycle from start-up and design phases through data collection and analysis.

Required Qualifications:

Education/Experience:A bachelor’s degree and at least six (6) years of relevant professional experience, specifically in using R language in evaluation projects, or at least four (4) years of relevant professional experience and a master’s degree.

Skills:

An aptitude for analytical thinking, synthesizing large amounts of data into insightful analysis and recommendations.

Hands-on practical experience managing and manipulating complicated and sometimes unformatted datasets with statistical analysis tools using R programming.

Executing and contributing to analysis plans that outline data cleaning steps and statistical analyses.

Experience with primary data collection using quantitative and evaluation methods.

Excellent and concise writing, analysis, and presentation skills with the ability to present data clearly and concisely.

Interest and experience in international affairs and public diplomacy.

Prior experience in overseeing or carrying out fieldwork, prior moderation, and interviewing is a plus.

English fluency required knowledge and fluency in additional languages is a plus.

Solution-oriented approach to address and learn from real-world challenges/risks.

Organizational skills, including time management, multi-tasking, and effective and efficient project management.

Proactive verbal and clear written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to effectively draft reports and communicate with clients and team members

Experience working independently with a willingness to collaborate across multiple teams and projects.

Attention to detail in executing data checks, analysis, and fieldwork oversight.
