Senior Product Manager - Public Sector (Cortex)

Job Description

We're looking for aresourceful product manager to implement and own our public sector product strategy for Cortex. Our teamdeliversnext generation security operations products to the most critical, complex, and targeted networks in the world.

As a highly skilled professional motivated by your passion for delivering impactful products addressing Public Sector missions, you will:

• Be a trusted partner to customer technical and operational mission owners

• Lead cross-functional product initiatives across Palo Alto Networks to drive product strategy, roadmap, and ultimately deliver superior mission outcomes to our Public Sector customers

• Drive Public Sector product strategy and roadmap for one or more SaaS products and product features

• Create user stories for current and future products based on the Public Sector market’s critical security operations problems

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Customer Success, Sales, leadership, and others to understand workflows and communicate your vision

• Prioritize roadmap requests and write product requirements; collect feedback from users, prioritize and balance resources appropriately

• Create core processes and engage in ongoing management of Product responsibilities such as feature releases, release cycles, and bug bashes

Qualifications

• Professional experience supporting government customers/users in a technical, product, or a product-adjacentrole

• You have a demonstrated experience communicating complex technical concepts to multi-disciplinary audiences via written and verbal presentations

• Curiosity; you ask “why” and dig deep to develop your product vision while still delivering results within time constraints

• Ability to (nicely) persuade and influence others; ability to collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams who may not report into you to get things done

• Comfort with ambiguity and making decisions with imperfect information

• An active security clearance is required ; TopSecret is preferred
