DevOps, Delivery & Platform (DDP) is a new team within the Mandiant Advantage Engineering organization tasked with delivering common tools, processes and infrastructure to the broader engineering team. The environment is one of rapidly evolving requirements that will provide exposure and opportunities to a variety of technologies as well as the chance to work with an incredible team. You will be part of an organization chartered to deliver and solve problems across all of Mandiant Advantage Engineering.

You will make key contributions to products that help our security analysts and customers find evil and solve crime. In this opportunity you will report directly to the VP of DevOps & Delivery and work across the teams within the greater DDP team. You be a key player in enabling the team to deliver solutions on the front line of cybersecurity that keep millions of users safe every day. You will leverage your expertise in driving software and infrastructure projects to successful completion. You will use and share best practices to guide our team to deliver high quality and highly scalable software and infrastructure. As a Technical Program Manager you will have opportunities to blend your technical knowledge and program leadership opportunity in this cloud first organization. You will be a critical go-to resource for senior Engineering leadership within Mandiant Advantage. You will help us meet a high bar for the security of our own products. Our highly collaborative teams rapidly release software in an environment where innovation is applauded, continuous integration is a focus, and you contribute to the vision and direction of our success.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist engineering leadership with managing resources and requirements throughout the development life cycle.
  • Work with product managers, stakeholders and the team to wrangle a roadmap to blend and juggle the varying needs and requests across a large and fast moving organization.
  • Work closely with the teams to develop and define plans and successfully deliver software and infrastructure projects.
  • Instill best practices for software development processes and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and be a key player in delivering high-quality work on ever evolving schedules.
  • Project management, prioritization, planning of projects and features, stakeholder management and tracking of external commitments.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in project and program management in a software development, DevOps and/or technology infrastructure organization including a history of delivering large and complex projects.
  • 10+ years total experience in software development, DevOps and/or technology infrastructure.
  • Strong technical working knowledge of key technical concepts including software development process, software architecture concepts, design patterns, cloud technology and delivery patterns.
  • Experience and understanding of business side topics including budgets, cost modeling, and procurement.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in a product focused software development environment.
  • Previous Software development experience – both hands-on and leadership.
  • Experience with cloud-based application delivery.
  • Experience in a cross-vertical team with multiple stakeholders and the ensuing balancing of requirements and priorities.
  • Experience with or in product management including translation of problem statements to requirements.

Minimum Salary: $110,000. Final salary will be determined commensurately with cost of living, experience level, and/or any other legally permissible considerations.

Incentive Compensation: Eligibility for annual bonus subject to individual and company performance; eligibility for award of Restricted Stock Units subject to eligibility requirements, approval from FireEye’s Compensation Committee, and vesting terms
