CGI has an exciting opportunity for a ServiceNow Developer on our USSS Events Management program. This person deliver a new system built on a custom COTS (ServiceNow) platform for the USSS. The Developer will support a highly skilled technical team, provide technical direction and serve as the ServiceNow Subject Matter Expert (SME). Will also serve as the thought leader and visionary for the clients and stakeholders, communicating successfully the vision that will best serve the client, while leveraging ServiceNow. Will work to provide the USSS a situational web application for both event planning and event execution functions that enables unified logistics planning, provisioning, scheduling and cost tracking actions and mobility surrounding protective, investigative, training or administrative events.

Your future duties and responsibilities• Responsible for leading/supporting the technical team, providing technical direction and serving as the ServiceNow Subject Matter Expert (SME).• Identify and mitigate development and technical risks while also contributing to the Agile process by providing research, design ideas, ServiceNow best practices and actual contributions to the development.• Work with the clients to shape the technical direction, provide an understanding of the advantages and disadvantages to various technical approaches.• Identify skill sets necessary for resources to possess to complete required tasks.• Perform development tasks.• Participate in Agile ceremonies.• Possess expert knowledge and experience in ServiceNow.• Provide daily supervision and direction to support staff.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.• Minimum of 4 years of ServiceNow Development experience.• Hands-on application development experience in ServiceNow.• Experience in an Agile development environment.• AngularJS development experience.• Experience with scoped applications in ServiceNow.

Desired Qualifications:• Current USSS EOD or active DHS EOD or active DoD Secret.• Prior experience working for/on federal client site.• ServiceNow certifications (System Administration, Application Development, Implementation).• React framework experience.
