SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Senior Finance Technology Manager is responsible for business oversight of large high-risk Finance technology programs, with multimillion-dollar cost impacts and multi-year delivery schedules. The position acts as the business liaison between Finance, IT and other stakeholder organizations involved in the implementation of these key Finance technology projects. The projects may include multiple work-streams and systems. Current and future projects may include the Finance ERP upgrade (SAP ECC to SAP S4/HANA) and Robotic Process Automation. Individuals in this role will work independently, with some indirect supervision, and have matrixed team members. The role requires excellent communication and change management skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Work with project managers, business or functional leaders and their representatives to successfully deliver non-technology components of assigned projects • Cultivate collaborative partnerships among stakeholders to enable scoping, business requirements and process change management • Develop metrics that provide data for process measurement, including identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities. • Provide consultation on process re-engineering to simplify processes and drive consistency while maintaining or improving internal controls. • Plan, prioritize, direct and support business line or functional project schedules, resource plans, and budgets. • Work with senior leaders to contribute relevant data to support planning activities and sequence new work through the appropriate approval mechanisms • Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program execution and work across organization to establish and monitor mitigation plans • Identify efficiencies and present recommended improvement opportunities at various levels of management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Proficiency in applying strategy, methods, metrics, and tools to facilitate change through process re-engineering. • Extensive knowledge of Accounting and Finance processes. • Strong project management skills and ability to lead complex projects through organizational change management and post-implementation operationalization. • Strong focus on collaboration, team building, and customer service • Highly motivated and self-directed • Ability to prioritize multiple objectives and priorities within tight deadlines. • Proven ability to diagnose root cause problems and reach solid conclusions • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills. • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. • Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail. • Adept at building harmonious relationships across a diverse workforce, while delivering results. • Must command respect of fellow colleagues and possess absolute integrity. • Passion for the safety of themselves and for others. • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Bachelor's degree - Accounting or Finance • Minimum of 9 years of relevant work experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience. • Prior experience with business analysis, requirements gathering and process improvement work • Must have work authorization in the United States.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Prior experience with continuous improvement methodologies, including LEAN/Six Sigma • Knowledge of SAP or other similar ERP systems • ERP system requirements gathering and documentation, design and implementation • Experience with Visio or other diagramming tools, and data visualization tools (such as Tableau)
