ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Works on projects that may span a broad range of systems. Provides technical guidance and expertise in multiple technical environments and possesses an increased level of business knowledge. Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following: Creates and maintains optimal data pipeline architecture. Assembles large, complex data sets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements. Identifies, designs and implements internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. Builds the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using Structured Query Language and Cloud Big Data technologies. Build analytical tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics. Proactively seeks to establish and maintain cooperative partnerships with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs. Creates data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader. Works with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems. Adheres to quality standards and procedures. Reviews modules for quality assurance and checks compliance with application architecture standards and Service Level Agreements. Defines development guidelines and standards to be utilized in software development/integration. May provide ongoing maintenance of applications. Helps lead planning sessions related to projects or new technologies to implement process improvement within the functional area. Documents discussions and agreements. Facilitates gate reviews, change advisor boards, and IT operational meetings. Promotes an understanding of IT Service Management roles, processes and activities to business units and IT departments. Supports and participates in formal reporting. Conduct requirement analysis, provide sizing efforts for project planning, design technical solution and present to Architecture and Design review committees for approval Lead vendor teams and deliver analytics projects involving data modeling, data ingestion, reporting, visualizations, and advanced analytics involving Erwin, Informatica, Business Objects, Tableau, AWS Services such as Sage maker, lambda, Kinesis, dynamo db, Interact with service owners, project, and program managers to provide status updates and escalate risks and issues associated with projectsWork with Tier 2 and Tier 3 support teams to fix enhancements and bugs associated with data products. Provide Knowledge Transfer, run books, and collaborate with support teams for successful product deployments and post-production support. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements such as automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management plus 7+ years relevant experience or 11+ years of relevant work experience Extensive experience programming and systems analysis experience. Have a broad level of understanding surrounding application architecture standards, data analytics environments and tools that include: Advanced working Structured Query Language (SQL) knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases. Experience building and optimizing 'Big Data' pipelines, architectures, and data sets. Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement. Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets. Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management. A successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large disconnected datasets. Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing and highly scalable 'Big Data' data stores. Experience using the following software/tools or equivalence: o Experience with big data toolso Experience with SQL/NoSQL databaseso Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools o Experience with cloud serviceso Experience with stream-processing systems o Experience with both scripting and general-purpose object-oriented programming languages Ability to work well under deadlines and in a flexible environment. Must have leadership skills, experience/in-depth knowledge of business operations and systems requirements processes including ability to measure short and long-term business goals. Must possess the ability to utilize adaptable communication skills to effectively translate between technical and business language. Must possess the skill to educate project team members on business unit goals and objectives and educate the business on the value of information technology. Ability to identify, propose and oversee the execution of business solutions as well as interpret documents communicating business needs and requirements. Must possess the skill to assess the client needs through direct interaction and identify opportunities to develop the business through effective use of technology. Must have proven track records of building large scale solutions for predictive and prescriptive analytics capabilities using modern cloud services and facilities. Provides expertise and technical skill, and often leads a diverse team, demonstrates ownership of deliverables manages to deadlines, communicates across teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems 9+ years relevant experience preferred
