Lead Collaboration Engineer. Washington DC(Remote to start)ContractResponsibilities:· Evaluate, develop and maintain telecommunications systems (hardware and software) with a focus the Cisco Unified Communications suite including UCM Cloud. · Develop design standards and best practices to facilitate integration between the two voice architectures in support of a phased migration from legacy Siemens to Cisco UC· Support phased migration to include dial plan configuration, outbound calling, inbound calling, SIP connectivity – support will include planning and configuration during and outside of business hours· Support database export from legacy Siemens PBX to facilitate feature and station migration to the new Cisco UC environment· Troubleshoot connectivity and other networking problems as applicable to the systems connectivity related to collaboration services.· Past Experience to Include:· Developed voice architected software and hardware designs· VoIP phone implementation using SIP and other signaling stack H323· Deliver and design custom call center application with IVR, Recorder on Demand, and multilevel call menu· Create system test scripts and facilitated testing; application testing and issue resolution· Familiarity with servers and other network infrastructures and Siemens proprietary Xpressions Unified Server, Contact Center Servers, HiPath 4000, HiPath 8000 Open Scape Voice Enterprise solution preferred.· Evaluate and supervise the total delivery of implementationRequirements:· Bachelor’s degree IT related field or equivalent IT experience· Must have at least 10 years of IT experience with L Cisco UCM (Call Manager) and related applications including UCM Cloud. VoIP implementation experience with enterprise clients in various industries, including health care, private sector, and public sector - domestic and international Established objectives and goals and met and exceeded quality expectations of clients. Experience supporting fast pace helpdesk environment· Must have a strong routing a switching background and be comfortable deploying and troubleshooting routers in OSPF and EIGRP Enterprise networks· Familiarity with Cisco IOS Switches and Routers, ASA Firewalls, Cisco Wireless Controllers and WAPs· Familiarity with legacy Siemens 9005 and 9006 products, Phonemail system, IVR, Spectralink Wireless system, Call Accounting servers, Interalia Products, Octel Voicemail system, and Call Center Servers preferred· Experience with third party network analyzers, monitoring and management tools· Experience troubleshooting connectivity and latency issues traffic over LAN, MPLS and T1 circuits· The following technical certifications CCNP – Collaboration· The ability to prioritize and work well under pressure· Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor· The ability to work well in a team or individually· A willingness to work some after-hours work
