This role’sactivitieswillhave a material effect on our business and customers, ensuring our teams can work and innovate at the speed of the frontlines of security.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable ability and technical skills to manage a large DevOps organization for a SaaS company. This role will be responsible foradvancingthe architecture, configuration, integration, automation, monitoring and support of Mandiant Solutions applications and associated resources. The VPof DevOps & Delivery will also be responsible for implementation and integration of an automated CI/CD architecture; software configuration and library management (SCLM) processes; managing tool integrations and source code repositories; authentication and shared services; and development, testing, and production systems. This position ensures our teams are able to deliver at the scale and speed required of a SaaS organization with the security and compliance necessary of a leading security company.
What you will do:- Manage, motivate, lead and retain an effective team responsible for(1)DevOps support of engineering and data science,(2)theadministrationand management ofall public-cloud environments, and(3)the design and coordination of the implementation and ongoing audit of security across the business.
- Work closely with engineering and operational teams to design and implement an effective public cloud strategy.
- Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to deliver our SaaS products through public & private cloud with consistent and predictable delivery methods.
- Enforce and improve operational processes supporting overall reliability and availability of the platform through CI/CD, SLI/SLO, and other practices.
- Work with Customer Success to meet customer-facing service level agreements.
- Design and implement an effective public-cloud cost management strategy, processes, and governance.
- Work with product teams to define standards for hosting in our environment.
- Collaboratively design an architecture andoperating environment which can deliverfourninesor more of production reliability.
- Ensure all applications have appropriate monitoring and remediation for all foreseeable systems issues.
- Design and maintain an incident responseprocess.
- Explore new technologies and methods that create higher reliability and faster delivery of our products.
Qualifications
Requirements:- 10+ years leading technical teams in a high availability environment.
- 5+ years managing cloud-based infrastructure at scale.
- Demonstrated history of managing teams of operations in a 24/7/365 mission critical environment, including managing around-the-clock global operating teams.
- Strong technicalacumenin public cloud, software release, change management, high availability, disaster recovery,devops, and site reliability.
- Experience with automation/configuration management technologies in public clouds.
- Proven ability to design, deliver, and operate a high availability platform in a high growth large-scale environment.
- Experience with global deployments and operating technology in foreign countries.
- Experience with Azure and AWS public cloud technologies.
