They bring demonstrated expertise leading Medicaid/HHS data analysis to a successful EDW design, development and implementation. They collaborate with the client and external users to understand requirements, design and facilitate complex reports and studies and provide actionable recommendations. They provide project leadership to team members to keep a schedule and meet deadlines. They manage and grow analytic staff and promote a positive, productive work environment.Responsibilities

Serve as subject matter expert leading EDW requirements analysis on analytic and reporting domains.

Provide analytic input to EDW data model design, development and testing.

Oversee analytic user training and user support provided for the client.

Oversee production reporting and analytic consulting projects related to health care issues, such as program evaluations, substance use disorders, chronic disease management, and quality of care.

Lead team in performing custom or ad hoc reporting and analysis, including managing external data requests from initial scoping through to project delivery.

Oversee the development, documentation and presentation of analytical results to the client.

Mentor and manage analytic staff.

Interact with and coordinate client’s engagement with internal subject matter experts.

Implement analytic standards and quality assurance on project work; implement or guide process improvements as appropriate.

Work with Account Director and Deputy Director to manage resources and schedules and deliver analytic projects on-time and on-budget.

Promote organizational goals for client value/satisfaction, revenue achievement, productivity, and employee growth.

5+ years experience in healthcare analysis and reporting using statistical methods and metrics.

5+ years experience with business intelligence tools such as Cognos.

5+ years team management and leadership experience.

3+ years experience handling Medicaid/state health policy issues and problems, relating them to client needs, and proposing appropriate solutions.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Excellent oral and written communication skills: able to discuss technical issues with technical and non-technical audiences and work in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage two or more disparate projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality or deadlines.

Ability to estimate and meet realistic timelines and communicate with the team accordingly.

Strong client service orientation and collaboration skills.

Cognos experience.

Strong data visualization skills.
