We have an immediate contract opportunity in the Washington, DC (remote to start) area for a Workday Report Developer. We are looking for a candidate with strong experience with Workday Reports Development and validating / processing data inside PRISM. This individual is responsible for validating data inside PRISM into usable data pipelines. They are then developing Workday reports from the data. Must be experienced in PRISM, Workday Report Writer and Workday eco system. This team meets with Workday weekly to learn new release features. The client's accounting system is in legacy Peoplesoft today. They are in the process of moving reports / inventory from Tableau & SAP Business Objects to Workday. 125 reports need to be analyzed, combined, eliminated or moved from Peoplesoft system to Workday. The client is converting data mart from Netezza to PRISM. All Workday Reports are being created off PRISM. Must Have:
- Knowledge or experience with building reports using PRISM is required.
- Recently migrated Cloud Database to PRISM.
- Some Data sets / Data Pipelines sit in PRISM. This person is required to transform the data pipelines in PRISM into usable data sets for the Reporting team to extract and create reports in Workday.
- Data pipeline and modeling of existing tables and data sets in PRISM.
- Creating derived data sets in Workday that can be used by reports
- Must be skilled with building pipelines at data layer in PRISM to support these reports.
- Creating derived data sets in Workday that can be used by reports
- Converting Business Objects reports and Tableau Dashboards to Workday Prism Analytics Reports using workday tools.
- As legacy system uses BO and Tableau tools for reports this position requires knowledge of at least one of these two tools.
- Expert in building and maintaining Workday reports
- Expert in data extraction and creating Derived Data Sets
- Expert in Workday integration tools
- Strong in ETL concepts, processes and Business Objects Data Services experience.
- Strong skills in creating and using complex SQL queries, Stored Procedures and validating reports/backend data.
- Strong Data Analysis skills with Database knowledge and experience with database query tools and languages (TOAD/DB Visualizer/SQL Developer).
- Experience with complete Software Development Life Cycle including requirements, design, and development and testing.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems.
