Mechanical HVAC

Overview

The onsite OCONUS Mechanical HVAC Technician shall have the following competencies:

Minimum Requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in the trade and minimum two (2) years overseas experience.
  • Licensed or certified by a National or State certification program at the Journeyman level.
  • Must possess a current valid driver's license and be willing to drive to locations as needed.
  • Factory training (or the ability to get factory trained within one (1) year of contract award) and at least five (5) years of field experience installing, operating, maintaining, and repairing the following equipment/systems: Uninterruptible Power Systems manufactured by Powerware, Toshiba, PS&C and APC.
  • Mechanical installation knowledge and experience (ductwork, hydronic piping, refrigerant piping)
  • Ability to prepare lists of materials and tools needed for identified work tasks.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting of various equipment.
  • Some knowledge of various mechanical equipment (Chillers, FCU's, Split systems, heaters, fans, appliances)
  • Some plumbing knowledge is a plus (piping, repair, equipment, appliances)
  • Multistack certified training is a plus

Additional Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment including extended travel
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hrs. per day
  • Ability to stoop, bend, twist, lift, carry, reach
